Products using iDown are intended to be home washable with commercially available detergents (follow your garment care label). Avoid dry cleaning unless required by the product label, and ensure adequate drying time (low-temp tumble dry) to remove internal moisture.

iDown is positioned as part of HEAT-MX’s broader sustainability approach—combining chemical-free structural performance, easier care, and recycling-focused programs, depending on the chosen iDown product code.

Chemical-free performance

iDown can use HEAT-MX chemical-free performance design, where thermal and comfort performance come primarily from physical structure rather than added performance chemicals.

Clean Recycling Initiative™ & cleanly recycled technology

Selected iDown products are compatible with HEAT-MX Clean Recycling Initiative™, which aims to eliminate significant industrial waste during manufacturing and enable “cleanly recycled” material flows.

Cleanly recyclable technology

Some articles are designed to be more easily recyclable by simplifying material combinations and leveraging clean processing approaches.

Energy-saving & sustainable technologies
